Throughout time, humans and animals have had a profound interdependent relationship. Both animals and humans have enhanced the quality of each others lives by providing shelter, food, security, guidance, or simply companionship.
There have been great advances in the areas of human and veterinary medicine individually, yet a great divide exists - a senseless gap between the findings of human and veterinary research.
This is why the New York Veterinary Foundation (NYVF) was created. Dedicated to Research, Education and Service in the field of veterinary medicine, our mission is to advance the collective knowledge base, both human and veterinary, through research and clinical studies that benefit both worlds.
